I have known Cobe & his family since I was about six and he was a newborn! Both of our families went to the same church & our dads even attended the same high school in Georgia! Talk about small world! I hate to say it and sound like one of "those old folks" but I even have those, "I remember when you did this ____" embarrassing stories about this kiddo! Which of course, we'll save for another day. But in all seriousness, it's crazy how time goes by so fast. The last time I checked Cobe was still five years old on his way to see Dora & Boots live on stage with my little sisters and now he's a senior in high school!?
I can't wait to see what kind of mark Cobe will put on the world. He is so talented - I mean so talented! Wait till you see some of his work! I'm telling you, this kid is going places! He is an amazing artist, such a smart kid with a bright future ahead of him.
I wish you all the best as you embark on this new journey as you find your purpose in the world! Remember you can't do it alone and the amazing people God has placed in your life are your biggest cheerleaders, especially your Mom & Dad. I hope when you look back on this season in your life that you'll smile & be thankful for the lessons you've learned thus far as they mold you into the person you are today.
Be the best human you can possibly be.
Drink lots of good coffee.
Listen for God.
And remember, good things come to those who wait.
